The Yankee Weimaraner Club has been in existence since the 1950's. Initially it was the New England Region of the Weimaraner Club of America and in the early 1960's it became the Yankee Weimaraner Club.

What We Do...and Love Doing It! |
The Yankee Weimaraner Club hosts an Independent Specialty Show and Obedience Trial each year as well as two Field Trials and two Hunt Tests. Club meetings are typically bi-monthly and incorporate Fun Field Days, Agility seminars, Obedience seminars and Breed handling seminars. The Yankee Weimaraner Club has a rescue program for those abandoned and unwanted dogs who's owners do not understand a "Dog is for LIFE, Not Just for Christmas". We rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and then re-home dogs who's families have turned them into the YWC rescue program, their local animal shelter, or just put them out on the street to wander starving and homeless.
